HOST TOM TANGEN STRIKES GOLD IN '09.
Celebrity Red Carpet Host TOM TANGEN, a favorite among Hollywood celebrities,
has signed a six figure deal with Starpower Management for the shingle
to produce TOM TANGEN'S INTERVIEWS OF A LIFETIME on cable, pay per view,
VOD, and DVD for 2009. The actor and host, Mr. Tangen, got his start in
theatre and then migrated to film. He now regularly produces and stars
in indie cult hits that have landed global distribution with national
chains, including Blockbuster.
Later, he moved into an area that few could master, as one of Hollywood's most beloved celebrity interviewers.
Tangen, who has interviewed countless A-listers from the late ANNA NICOLE
SMITH to HALLE BERRY and JOHN TRAVOLTA, often finds that his only trouble
is pulling the mic away from the stars to get them to stop talking to
him.
"Stars usually love me," Tangen gushes. "I guess the reason is because
unlike many shows out there that try to make them look bad, I'm nice to
them, and they appreciate that." And appreciate it they must. His catalog
currently is 2,000 celebrity interviews and growing. His management firm
adds, "When Tom comes to a red carpet event, they move out of his way
and pull out his chair. They know who's boss."
